This is meant to ...hopefully....demonstrate the nature of viral marketing via memes such as twitter/blogs/facebook. I am interning with a creative consultant and she has steered me into this realm, and the power of such social interfaces. She is teaching me and has me, so far, creating facebooks and twitters for clients, but there can be so much more. I want to demonstrate to her...and anyone else...the power of using key words and links to spread a meme enough that it will warrant showing up in google, in the first few pages.

I am trying to demonstrate such viral memes and marketing within a weeks time. I want to see this post hit the first 10 pages of google within a week. ...it hit 1st page, #5 in less than 20 hours!

As I mentioned, for those magickally inclined, consider this a bit of kaos magic, a summoning. For psyche types, consider this a state of creating conditions to create a self fulfilling prophecy.

I learned on the National Geographic channel the other day that we sometimes wonder why out of the 20 species of hominid that ever existed, only one survived. Two reasons- Australopithecus ate meat while its contemporary hominid ate tubers. The one that ate meat got more protein which promoted brain growth and forced the ape to be more clever because it's trickier to get meat than to dig up tubers.

The other reason is when you compare the bottoms of the neanderthal and the cro-magnon skull. The sphenoid bone on cro-magnon's is curved while the neanderthal's is flat. This shape suggests that cro-magnon's larynx was set deeper down the throat. This deep-set throat allows greater voice resonance and a wider range of vowel sound production, which led to a much more rich and complex spoken language. Neanderthal at best could only produce high-pitched baby talk. The ones with the more complex language could gossip more and plan hunts better and discuss the future in more depth, which ultimately led to their survival over neanderthals.

Every time I see a special where the lives of neanderthals and the lives of cro-magnons cross, I always feel bad for the neanderthals.
